I invite you to read the third number of the Journal of Hearing Science for this year. This issue combines some basic research topics – like modelling our ability to discriminate the size of objects based on the transient sounds they make – with more clinical ones, like Meniere’s disease, and a most important topic in audiology nowadays, cochlear implants.
