I invite you to read the current number of the Journal of Hearing Science which features papers on electrical activity of the brain as shown by electroencephalography (EEG) and on cochlear implants (CIs). The two EEG studies involve a comparison of EEGs with fMRI, and of auditory evoked potentials evoked by tones and speech. The other two CI papers describe the results of rehabilitation of CMV patients, and parental satisfaction with the rehabilitation services provided to their children.
