The
Journal of Hearing Science (
J Hear Sci) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original articles in all areas of otorhinolaryngology, audiology, and phoniatrics, as well as related fields such as speech-language pathology, speech therapy and rehabilitation, genetics, pharmacology, surgery, and biomedical engineering.
J Hear Sci is issued four times per year (March, June, September, December) both in printed form and electronically at www.journalofhearingscience.com.
Authors
The
Journal of Hearing Science is open to scientists from all countries. All authors should supply their ORCID IDs.
Types of Articles
J Hear Sci publishes: original articles, review papers, hypothesis papers, case studies, book reviews, and conference reports.
Open Access
J Hear Sci is primarily an electronic open access (OA) journal, although print copies can be ordered on request (see
Print-Version Subscription).
Payment
The submission, peer-review, and publishing of manuscripts are
free of charge.
ORCID
To publish articles in the Journal of Hearing Science, the author must have an ORCID identifier. When submitting an article to the Journal of Hearing Science editorial system, users may log in with their ORCID identifier, and once the article is published, their ORCID record will be automatically updated.
